Makeup Test Request

If you have technical difficulties,

you have 48 hours to request a makeup exam. 


Even if you have passed the 48 hour time, submit the request.  

You may still choose not to test for the makeup and you can receive a refund.  If you do NOT request a makeup, you will not be eligible for a makeup and will be scored for any partial exam submission.

Steps to Register for an AP test

Step 1

Join your AP Class (click Join Your Class for instructions).  You will need to get your class code from your teacher or Ms. Goldstein.


If you are having trouble accessing your College Board account:

  • Try Forgot Password and/or Forgot Username

  • If you still can't log on, call College Board at 1-888-225-5427.

Step 2

Choose Yes or No in the Test Registration Section. 

  • Fall Registration Dates:    You may change your mind until early November 15, but after that your choice is binding unless you pay an extra fee or forfeit your down-payment

  • Spring Registration Dates (For 2nd semester 1/2 credit courses only):  Form and payment due to Jody Ray by February 14, 2020.  You may change your mind until March 6, 2020, but after that your choice is binding unless you pay an extra fee or forfeit your down-payment.

Step 3

Fill out a paper form and give to Jody Ray (counseling secretary) by

  • Fall Registration Dates: October 1st with the $40 down-payment. It is non-refundable after November 15th.   

  • Spring Registration Dates (For 2nd semester 1/2 credit courses only): February 14, 2020 with the $40 down-payment. It is non-refundable after March 6.


YOU MAY PAY FULL BALANCE at registration.


FINAL PAYMENT is due no later than April 29, 2020.  You may pay with a cash,  check or credit card.


  • Make checks payable to: McCallum High School. 

  • You may pay with a credit card at School Cash Online.  We are listed as A. N. McCallum on the site.  Please be aware that the credit card site adds a service fee to the payment

  • Ap Payment is listed under "items"  not under your child's name.

If you are having trouble, come to Ms. Goldstein's FIT sessions in the cafeteria.  They will be held every FIT day through November 15th.  Alternately, come by Ms. Goldstein's office.

What is AP?

Why take an AP Test?

  • The main reason is to save money for college.  You can earn college credit for scoring a 3, 4 or 5 on an AP test.

How will I know if my college give me credit for my AP?

  • AP exams will be given at McCallum High School.  Rooms will be posted and you will be given instruction closer to test time.

How do I sign-up for an AP exam?

  • Sign up for your AP class online (click here for instructions)

  • Register for the test online

  • Fill out an order form and return to Jody Ray by Tuesday October 1st.

  • You  may get an order form from your AP teacher or you may download and print it from this site.  Click the AP order form button for a printable order form.

When and Where do I turn in my order form?

  • Give your form to Jody Ray at the counselor's front desk by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2019.

How much does it cost?

  • AP Exams are $94.00 per test.

  • A $40.00 down-payment is required to reserve your test.

  • The entire amount must be paid in full by Monday, April 13, 2020.

Can I get a Fee Reduction?

  • If you qualify for free and reduced lunch, or fit within other certain financial guidelines, you may qualify for a reduced fee of $23.00 per test.

What if I need accommodations?

  • If you have a 504 plan or are receiving Special Education Services, you will need to see your counselor as soon as possible to request accommodations.  If you have already requested and received accommodations for SAT or PSAT, those accommodations will transfer to AP tests.

What else do I need to know?

  • We will give your more information in Spring. 

AP Testing Day Info

AP testing will be held on the McCallum Campus this year.




7:30 am - 7:45 am for morning tests

11:30 am - 11:45 am for afternoon tests



  • Morning testers will eat during normal MAC lunch hours.

  • Afternoon testers will eat at 11:00 am during 2nd/6th period in the cafeteria and should bring their own lunch. If you want a sack lunch from MAC, you must tell us before your testing day.
